What is Bose's general return policy?

Experience Bose sound for 90 days (30 days for Aviation products and Bose Accessories) when purchased on Bose.com. If not 100% satisfied, Bose will cover return shipping. The item must be in its original, undamaged condition with all accessories included. Exclusions apply.

Which items can't be returned or have a different return policy?

Items that can't be returned are:

  • Trade In program purchases
  • Personalized items
  • Final sale products
  • Gift cards

What is the Trade In program return and refund policy?

Trade In program purchases are final sale and cannot be returned. Products that customers trade in and send to Bose will not be returned.

How do I return an item?

1. Ensure you meet the return and refund qualifications, which are the following:

  • Product must be purchased directly from Bose. Products purchased elsewhere must be returned at the respective retailer.
  • Your return request must be received by Bose within 90 days of receipt.
  • Product must not be on the list of return exclusions.
  • Product must be in good physical condition.
  • All accessories, cases, and parts included in the original packaging must be returned.

2. To start the return online, visit Start a Return or log in to your My Bose account.

3. Once processed, you'll receive return instructions and a prepaid shipping label via email.

4. Package the product with all accessories and ship the package to Bose within 30 days of initiating your return.

5. Once we receive your product, refunds typically process within 3-5 business days for credit cards and PayPal; other payment methods may take up to 2 weeks.

Important return instructions:

  1. You must obtain a return shipping label from Bose before shipping. Without it, Bose may deny the return.
  2. Using the Bose pre-paid return shipping label is recommended. If you choose your own carrier, you're responsible for the product until Bose confirms receipt, and your return must be accompanied by an RMA number Bose provides.
  3. After confirming your return, Bose will issue a refund or credit for the purchase price, subject to potential reductions.
  4. Returns that don't meet the policy conditions may be refused or subject to a restocking fee of up to 15% of the original price.

Will I have to pay for return shipping?

No. Bose covers return shipping for items returned within 90 days of receipt, when purchased on Bose.com, or within 30 days of receipt for Bose Accessories and Aviation products purchased on Bose.com.

When will I receive my refund?

Bose will initiate your refund once your returned items are received at our Returns Center. Refunds typically process within 3-5 business days for credit cards and PayPal; other payment methods may take up to 2 weeks.

What are your refund policies for discounted or bundled items?

If you received discounts or free items with your purchase, the discount may be deducted from your refund if you don't return all items.

For bundles, the bundle discount may be deducted from your refund if returning only a part of your bundle purchase.

What if my item arrives damaged or is defective?

Please contact Bose Customer Service. Bose will arrange for a replacement or repair under our Warranty  policy.

Can I cancel my return?

Simply do not ship your package back to Bose. If you’ve already shipped your product back, please Contact Us.
